Building dust is not ordinary dust. It is fine, it settles twice, and it is on every surface including the ones nobody thinks of. This is a deep clean with more passes, and it is priced as one.
Only when the work is finished
Completely finished. If anyone is still cutting, sanding or painting, the dust simply comes back and you pay to have the same rooms cleaned again. This is the single most useful thing to get right about booking it.
What is included
Windows, walls, doors and frames, floors, bathrooms, the kitchen on the outside surfaces, dust off the furniture, and light fittings where the ceilings are a normal height. Inside the kitchen cabinets is a separate request, so say if you want it.
What is not included
We do not remove building debris, offcuts or packaging, and we do not gather up tools left behind by the trades. That is the builder's job and it needs to be done before we arrive. We also do not clean light fittings under high ceilings.
What we need to know
The size of the home, how many bathrooms, how many floors, which rooms were worked on, and whether the site has already been cleared.
If the home is also being handed over or moved into, see move in and move out cleaning.
